I find that the most important aspect about my Primary Aim is that it keeps me aware of the fact that there is a reason why I am in business and it's more than just making money. I do not feel guilty about wanting to find ways to free myself from my business so I can enjoy other interests. I want my business to be about more life. We created our Strategic Objective when our economy was doing much better than it is now and I think we might need to adjust our monetary goals and employee hiring downward some. I do feel that our Strategic Objective is about more than sales volume and the number of employees we have on hand, it paints a picture of how we want this company to look and feel when we have everything in place and we are working at maximum potential and that has helped me direct our employees in several instances. I feel that the Mastery Program is the only way that I could benefit from this type of information. Working with you from a philosophical standpoint in trying to think of things in a different way has enabled me to learn and grow. Working with you on the implementation of what we have learned has provided me with stellar example of what can happen if we follow these principles and gives me the confidence to follow thru on them. I can't imagine doing this any other way. As I go forward I find that most of the obstacles that I am concerned about are more in my own mind than a real obstacle. As I learn more about time management and organization in general I find that working towards a "result" produces more than what I used to get accomplished before and that is giving me more life! I am happy with the way our program works and do not have any suggestions to improve it at this time. Maybe I should use the System Innovation Process on our interactions to find out where we could improve it, but that is not a top priority right now. Just a simple thing like an organizational chart helped keep our company focused in the right direction and gave us that double vision, allowing us to attend to the business at hand while at the same time working towards our long term goals. The Foundation Series introduced me to a new way of thinking about the basic concepts of my business in such a way that I couldn't wait to start to use these new ideas and introduce them to my employees.
