I have been in our family business for 21 years. I am still daily driven by what the business needs. I always feel behind and want to catch up! I read the e-myth book and loved it! I feel we really need to e-myth our business, but have a partner that sees things different. Any suggestions?

    Suggestions for Roger B.:

It is wonderful that you feel resonance with E-Myth and sense the value of what it could bring to you and your business.

If your partner doesn't feel the same way, that could be an indicator that you and your partner are not on the same page about how the business should be run or perhaps even the vision you have for what the business should ultimately become!

I would suggest, if you have not done so already, to read some of the other articles on our blog that involve Leadership issues, and particularly an article written by Michael Gerber entitled, "Beating the Perils of Partnerships: How to Form a More Perfect Union." You can do a blog search for "partnerships" that will pull this up along with other relevant articles. That may shed some light on how to get more more aligned as leaders of your business if that is indeed necessary.

I would also suggest, if you have not done so already, speaking to one of our Program Advisors about the various programs we offer so that you are aware of what E-Myth has to offer and can take advantage of whatever program is most appropriate for you and your business now or in the future.

I hope that you can use whatever resources are available to you to be driven by your needs and your vision, and to feel ahead of the game and proactive!
