Dear
E-Myth Reader,
Doing the right thing for business can also do right by the environment. Below we have five suggestions for saving money and making efficient use of natural resources. We have more tips and a firsthand recycling experience noted in our blog article The Green Office.

The Green Office
Many work processes generate excessive waste. Here are five tips that reduce waste which can be adopted easily:
- Reduce transportation fuel usage. Provide telecommuting flexibility and incentives for
walking, biking and carpooling employees.
- Recycle. Paper, aluminum and certain plastics are the main recycling candidates.
- Buy paper made with recycled content.
- Use 'Energy Star' compliant appliances. You'll save energy and money.
- Turn down the lights. This lowers the electric bill, generates less heat, and reduces your
summer cooling costs.
If you are building or remodeling an office there are major measures you can take to increase the energy efficiency of the structure. For further information on major measures as well as more everyday tips, see the blog article The Green Office.
