Dear E-Myth Reader,
This week we discuss a 5-step lead conversion process. Our role models are masters of lead conversion, Girl Scouts. Their system
for selling cookies is an example of a systemized lead conversion process. Log in to read the article Girl Scouts Know Lead Conversion.
Girl Scout Lead Conversion
Girl Scouts selling cookies don't have much sales experience, yet they consistently get results. The key is that they have a good
lead conversion system.
Five Steps in Lead Conversion
Here are five steps in the lead conversion process:
- Interact with prospects, demonstrating that you're interested in them and their needs.
- Your lead generation process made a promise; repeat that emotional message.
- Determine what your customers want and why they believe your product gives it to them.
- "Don't sell...satisfy." You have done your job if you have fulfilled your customer's needs.
- When your customers have gotten answers to all their questions, offer the product.
Each time you make a sale you're forging an enduring relationship with a customer. With an effective lead conversion process in
place, you may achieve the same consistently positive results as the Girl Scouts. Log in to read the article Girl Scouts Know Lead Conversion.
