Published: 01/24/2008

The E-Myth Insider

24 January 2008 Brought to you by E-Myth Worldwide

Dear E-Myth Reader,

E-Myth hosted an International Business Leadership Intensive Seminar attended by 30 Nigerian business leaders, 14-16 January, 2008 in Rohnert Park CA. Organized through the US Commercial Service at the US Consulate General's office in Lagos, Nigeria, the event brought a dynamic Nigerian delegation together with E-Myth's top brass to learn how to implement core
E-Myth principles.

For more information, see the entries for Jan 22 and Jan 15 in the E-Myth News section of
the E-Myth website.

Focus Nigeria

Many businesses in Nigeria lack the organizational structure that successful US businesses can achieve.

Mr. Anayo Agu, a delegation organizer said "We have a peculiar problem and a peculiar opportunity. Nigeria has a population of 150 million people and 50 million people who are entrepreneurs. But ask a Nigerian company to give you their financial history for the past three years, they don't have it. Opportunities abound in Nigeria, but entrepreneurs struggle for survival due to dysfunctional structures, processes and systems."

E-Myth CEO Bill Schlegel addressed the group and said "We have systems that have worked and have been proven here in the USA, and that is intellectual property we are more than willing to export to the world. Demand for entrepreneurial education is a global phenomenon."

Michael Gerber, Founder of E-Myth Worldwide, also addressed the group via teleconference and said "The missing ingredient in many small businesses is the ability to think systematically."
