We pay taxes every year and resign ourselves to their inevitability, but some of us pay more than necessary by missing allowable deductions. Office equipment is clearly deductible, as is mortgage interest, but there are also tax credits available in the US for purchasing new hybrid vehicles and installing energy-efficient measures in
