 Animator Bobby Beck worked on animated movies at Pixar, but he was frustrated because hiring animation staff was fraught with difficultly. He left in 2004 and co-founded an online animation school with two fellow animators. Animation Mentor connects students with mentors from top studios like Pixar, DreamWorks, Industrial Light & Magic, and Disney Studios. Their award-winning curriculum is an 18-month course and graduates receive a diploma in Advanced Studies in Character Animation.
